Artists in conflict zones grapple with dramatic changes to their living conditions, frequently losing access to the opportunities to produce and distribute their work. To continue their work, the call 'What are you working on?', financed by the Südkulturfonds and curated by artlink in partnership with Kaserne Basel, Biel-Bienne Festival of Photography, Coalmine Winterthur, and FIT Festival Lugano, invited filmmakers living in war zones in September 2022. The evening presents submissions from Syria, Myanmar, Libya and Ukraine and includes a panel discussion about the current global situation: How can we support artists?
